Picnic Tea

                    Picnic Tea

Bright blue ocean glimmering,
       White spume loudly crashing down,
Spraying screaming children,
Crying Seagulls flying over shimmering water,
Searching for whitebait to prey on,
Adults loudly having a yarn,
Laying out their fish and chips,
“Teatime” adults loudly scream,
Children splashing in sparkling water,
Running back to the sandy beach,
Seagulls swooping down,
Children hiding precious food,
Dark Night sky slowly setting in,
While they pack up,

“It’s time to head home.”

  1. Hi Caitlyn, my name is Joshua from Panmure bridge school. I see that you have been working on your poem about Picnic tea. Did you have to pick your own poem to write about or did your teacher give you a task to work on. Next time you should add a blurb to your blogpost so we know what you did.
Well done for working really hard to complete your task :)

    Regards - Joshua
